The meal plan.

One of the most important factors about the HCG diet is the diet plan that you have to follow. One may have 100 grams of beef, chicken breast and veal and also a variety of sea foods like lobster, shrimps or crab but all visible fats have to be removed prior to the cooking and only two methods of cooking are accepted which are boiling and grilling. No matter the method that you prefer, it is highly advised that no additional fat should be added in either of the cooking process. You should steer away from tuna, salmon, herring and eel if they are dried or pickled and also the skin from the chicken breast must be removed before you eat the meat.

2. You may also have one class of vegetables which you can choose from either the spinach, chicory, chard, tomatoes, onions, green salad, cabbage, asparagus, celery or cucumbers.

3. On the third choice, there are only two options that one can choose from and that is the bread stick better known as the grissino or the Melba Toast

4. You may have an apple, one half of a grape fruit. Orange or a handful of strawberries for the fruit.

The same four choices apply for supper but you can change within the choices to avoid boredom.

The limits.

While you are allowed a variety of foods to choose from, to be able to get the best out of the program, it is important that you keep in mind that the 500 calorie limit should not be exceeded, eggs are allowed on a very rare basis and it is important to note that one has to add three egg whites to each whole egg that they eat. You can either boil, or eat the egg raw or poached. Fat free beauty products are allowed as well as Aspirin and birth control. However, no type of massage should be done since most of the products that are used for this are fat and oil based and can be absorbed through the skin.
